Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving, filing, and issuing documents to internal and external client groups as part of the statutory process. This includes maintaining accurate electronic and manual records and cross-referencing Excel spreadsheets.
- Ensuring that data and recording systems are maintained accurately to meet statutory requirements and allow for effective reporting.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with client groups, including professionals involved with children with special educational needs, such as school SENDCOs, and parents/carers.
- Gathering relevant information in a timely manner.
- Processing annual reviews for children and young people, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational standards.
- Visiting schools and maintaining contact with families to ensure open lines of communication and a clear understanding of the needs and progress of each child.
- Participating in and supporting the statutory assessment process to ensure all necessary data and documentation are collected and processed correctly.
- Maintaining accurate administrative systems, including electronic data management and document storage.
Requirements:
- A degree or relevant administrative qualifications/experience.
- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a SEND or educational environment.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with various stakeholders.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with teams and external groups.
- Willingness to adapt to new processes and technologies as needed.
