Sustainable Housing Support Worker

Join our dynamic Street Homelessness Accommodation Team as we make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals. As a Housing Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive housing support services across three unique projects: Housing First, Dispersed self-contained flats, and Shared Accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactive Support Delivery: Provide proactive support to applicants with multiple and complex support needs, facilitating their access to and maintenance of suitable accommodation.
• Caseload Management: Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring all aspects of support work align with legislation, safeguarding, and organizational policies and procedures.
• Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with internal and external partners to enhance outcomes for applicants facing multiple and complex support challenges.
• Documentation Management: Ensure all service users' documentation is relevant, updated, and accurately entered into various IT systems, maintaining data integrity.
• Efficient Service Delivery: Contribute to efficient service delivery both independently and as part of a team, adhering to local policies, procedures, and legislation. This may involve occasional shift work.
